NOTES TO U.S. TOWN LIST
MFZC Listings - The letter “A’ after the zip code indicates Townmark Type “A” (MAILED FROM ZIP CODE / XXXXX). The letters “AF” indicate Townmark Type “AF” (“Fox” one-line townmark MAILED FROM ZIP CODE XXXXX”).
*,# Meter (*) or PVI (#) is used by the Post Office. Collectors can
write to the Postmaster. Minimum postage amount for a meter or PVI tape
is the current first class rate.

Please include the EXACT spelling of town as shown in the town circle,
and meter number (if legible) in all reports.
Also, please report any townmarks including Zip Codes, giving exact spelling shown on PVI or meter, including Zip Code, and meter number. If the Zip Code is not clear, send a photocopy of the item. These will be added to the new Town List as zip code varieties. The PVI's will also be added to the PVI List.

MSS U.S. TOWN LIST
Updated U.S. town lists are also available on the Internet at
http://www.draves.com/mss. The town list may be viewed online or downloaded to your computer. The Internet town lists are updated every three months (about March 1, June 1, September 1, and December 1). The Bulletin town page and a listing of newly reported zip codes, errors, etc. are also posted to the web site on the same dates.
MSS members may obtain a printed or disk copy of the current town list from Alan Draves, as follows:
Floppy disk (specify 3.5" or 5.25") $2.50
(includes errors, varieties, zips, etc.)
Printed Townlist, towns only $7.00
Printed MFZC Townlist $4.00
Members are encouraged to check their collections against the town
list, and report any additions or corrections.
A current listing of all PVI's reported to date (including those used at
the new towns listed in this issue) is available from Alan Draves for
$12.00 postpaid. List is available sorted by state, meter number, or
zip code, please specify which when requesting list. An Internet version of the PVI List is planned.
